Camila Cabello’s multi-format hit “Havana (featuring Young Thug)” is poised to enter the Top 10 at hot adult contemporary radio.
“Havana” received 3,012 Hot AC spins during the first six days of the December 3-9 tracking week. Up 13.0% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Havana” at #9 on Mediabase’s building chart.
While “Havana” does not hold a big spin lead over the #10 (Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” | 2,977 spins) and #11 (Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” | 2,66 spins), it has the clear momentum advantage. “Havana” is up a substantial 13.0% from last week, while “Slow Hands” (-4.6%) and “Sorry Not Sorry” (-1.4%) are both down.
“Havana” should thus be able to extend its lead as the chart goes final.
“Havana” is an even bigger hit at pop radio, where it is poised to spend a third consecutive week at #1. It should meanwhile retain the #4 position on this week’s rhythmic chart.
