MTV has officially put an end to speculation about who will receive the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
The 2017 recipient will be P!nk.
MTV announced the news Tuesday afternoon.
As was the case for several past winners, P!nk will also perform at the August 27 ceremony.
Other confirmed performers include Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, and 30 Seconds To Mars.
