Silento’s 2015 viral hit “Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae)” has ascended to a new multi-platinum tier in the United States.
According to the RIAA, the single went 6x platinum on October 21, 2016.
The certification confirms 6 million in US digital units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Watch Me” peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
