Issued under the RIAA’s digital singles program, the platinum honor came on December 17, 2015.
The certification confirms a US unit total of at least 1 million. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.
“19 You + Me” is the first Dan + Shay single to earn such an honor.
Released as the lead single from album “Where It All Began,” “19 You + Me” peaked at #42 on the Billboard Hot 100.
