Ratings: Syfy’s “Childhood’s End,” “The Expanse” Fall On Night Two

The second part of Syfy’s “Childhood’s End” miniseries and the second episode of its new “The Expanse” series both suffered declines in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Tuesday’s edition of “Childhood’s End” posted a 0.31 adults 18-49 rating and reached 1.242 million total viewers in the 8-10PM timeslot.

The first part, which aired in the same timeslot on Monday night, drew a 0.43 rating and 1.447 million total viewers.

Part two of “Childhood’s End” led into episode two of “The Expanse,” which posted a 0.27 adults 18-49 rating and reached 854,000 total viewers.

Monday’s series premiere scored a 0.33 rating with 1.189 million total viewers.

Hoping to generate additional buzz, Syfy has made the first four episodes of “The Expanse” available for streaming.
