Ratings: FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel” Sinks Again

FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel” again suffered steep declines in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Wednesday’s episode, which was the third of the current season, posted a 1.67 adults 18-49 rating with 3.202 million total viewers.

The numbers trail those of last week’s broadcast (2.15 adults 18-49 rating with 4.061 million total viewers) by 22% in adults 18-49 and 21% in total viewership.

They sit at a considerable distance from those of the October 7 season premiere, which posted a 2.99 A18-49 rating and 5.807 million total viewers.

Additionally, they trail the week three numbers posted by the preceding “Freak Show” (2.2, 4.439 million) and “Coven” (2.1, 3.779 million) installments of the “American Horror Story” franchise.

Despite those negative statistics, this week’s episode still ranked as the day’s highest-rated and most-watched non-sports cable original. “AHS” also ranked as its timeslot’s top non-sports program (broadcast or cable) in adults 18-49.
