First Details Emerge Regarding Ultimate Warrior’s Sudden Death

Much remains unanswered about the news that sent shockwaves through the pro wrestling community, but some initial insight has finally emerged regarding the sudden passing of new WWE Hall of Famer The Ultimate Warrior.

According to TMZ, Warrior collapsed outside of an Arizona hotel Tuesday evening while walking to his car with his wife.

“Warrior was transported to a nearby hospital…where he was pronounced dead,” notes TMZ.

Survived by his wife Dana and two daughters, Warrior was 54 at the time of his passing. The unfortunate death came the day after Warrior made a trio of WWE television appearances in conjunction with WrestleMania weekend.

“We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans,” wrote WWE in its official statement.
