WWE RAW’s 20th Anniversary Episode Wins Ratings Race Monday

With football competition in its rear window for the season, WWE RAW easily claimed victory in the cable ratings race Monday.

The 20th Anniversary of RAW averaged a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating with 4.55 million viewers.

Considering the dearth of competition this week, last week’s performance–a 1.6 and 4.42 million against the BCS Championship–was the more impressive showing. Still, as WWE moves towards Royal Rumble and then WrestleMania with The Rock at its forefront, WWE’s ability to keep viewers engaged is a positive.

The show opened to a 1.6 and 4.50 million viewers at 8PM; it delivered a 1.7 with 4.68 million and 4.47 million viewers, respectively, at 9PM and 10PM.
