WWE RAW Ratings Continue Decline, Crushed by Packers vs. Seahawks

Thanks to the controversial finish in the Monday Night NFL game between the Packers and Seahawks, this week’s WWE RAW took a distant backseat not only to the game but also a post-game edition of SportsCenter.

RAW, which averaged a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating with 3.79 million viewers, delivered an audience that paled in comparison to the aforementioned sports telecasts. The actual game averaged a 6.4 rating with 16.17 million viewers, while ESPN’s SportsCenter was good for a 3.1 and 6.46 million.

In a very discouraging sign for RAW, not one of the three hours averaged more than 4 million viewers. The opened with a 1.4 rating and 3.77 million at 8PM, before moving up to a 1.5 and 3.99 million at 9PM and then back down to a 1.4 with 3.60 million at 10PM.

In addition to the NFL action, RAW also faced intense competition from the major broadcasts, which all officially opened their seasons Monday night. Last week, only NBC’s “The Voice”-“Revolution” and FOX’s “Bones”-“Mob Doctor” ran opposite RAW.
