That man was Cub Swanson, who devastated Charles Oliveira with a pair of punches in the first round. After connecting with a bodyshot that undoubtedly did damage, Swanson followed up with a big right hand to the head.
Oliveira initially absorbed the punch, but a second or two later, he winced in pain and simply fell to the mat. That was all she wrote, and the referee raised Oliveira’s hand after just two minutes and forty seconds.
