WWE RAW Ratings Continue Slide, Rock’s Return Needs to Deliver

As WWE WrestleMania approaches, the weekly RAW ratings are unfortunately falling.

With no bonus attraction in the form of The Rock or Steve Austin, and up against the return of various originals on broadcast, Monday’s RAW sank to its lowest rating since the WrestleMania build began–a 3.3 cable coverage rating.

The show was down to a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating with 5.13 million viewers. That performance is not terrible by RAW standards, but for two weeks out from the biggest pay-per-view of the year, it is somewhat disheartening.

WWE will now be counting on The Rock’s live return, set for next week, to significantly boost ratings and assure the eyeballs are there as WWE gives its final hard sell for ‘Mania.
