NBC is trumpeting the strong ratings performance delivered by Tuesday’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Citing metered market data, NBC says the episode drew a 3.0 overnight household rating and a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.

The household rating is the show’s best for a Tuesday episode since the December 15, 2015 episode drew a 3.4. That broadcast, NBC notes, followed the season nine “The Voice” finale.

The adults 18-49 figure tops the combined demo ratings for timeslot rivals “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (0.4) and “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” (0.3).

Tuesday’s “Tonight Show” featured guests Dolly Parton (interview and performance) and Donald Glover (interview). The “Final Five” US Gymnastics team members additionally appeared for a game of “Hungry Hungry Humans”, but NBC did not advertise their involvement until hours before the show went live.
