After reigning for seven consecutive weeks, Disturbed’s “The Sound Of Silence” slips to #2 on this week’s Mediabase active rock airplay chart.

Up one place, “Emotionless” takes #1 on the strength of the ~1,775 spins it received during the April 17-23 tracking week (+108).

Disturbed’s Simon and Garfunkel cover, the week’s #2 song, received ~1,718 tracking week plays (-178).

Spun ~1,643 times during the official tracking period (+63), Bring Me The Horizon’s “Happy Song” rises two places to #3. Five Finger Death Punch’s “My Nemesis,” also up two places, follows at #4 with ~1,505 spins (+209), while Volbeat’s “The Devil’s Bleeding Crown” rockets six places to #5 on the strength of its ~1,410 tracking week plays (+368).
