Update 2: Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” performance will not be airing on the April 29 edition of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” as had previously been advertised. A new airdate will be announced shortly.

Sources say the decision to postpone airing the performance was made by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which needed to shuffle some recent scheduling in order to accommodate segments on the late Prince.

Update: Shortly after Headline Planet published the below post, Fifth Harmony Tweeted confirmation that its performance would air on the April 29 edition of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Interestingly, as of Tuesday night, the official “Ellen” website no longer lists Fifth Harmony’s performance. The preview for the April 29 episode only lists Mario Lopez as a confirmed guest.

It is presently unclear whether this is a clerical error or whether the 5H performance has been moved to a different show. Headline Planet will update when it learns more.
=====================

This past week, the official “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” website confirmed reports that girl group Fifth Harmony would perform on the Tuesday, April 26 episode.

The performance is now being listed for the Friday, April 29 edition of the syndicated talk show.

“They may ‘Work from Home’ on the regular, but today, they’re all over Ellen’s stage… FIFTH HARMONY will perform their #1 hit from their upcoming CD, “7/27”…the weekend has arrived this Friday on Ellen,” says the official message.

It is unclear what prompted the delay or whether the new airdate will affect when the performance is being taped.
