Echosmith’s “Bright” is Already One of Pop’s 50 Most-Played

When you debut at mainstream radio with a song like “Cool Kids,” you position yourself to continue shining bright in the world of pop.

Through new single “Bright,” Echosmith is capitalizing on that opportunity.

While it has a long way to go before it can be included in a conversation with “Cool Kids,” the song is making early waves at the hot adult contemporary and pop radio formats.

As Headline Planet reported, “Bright” scored sixteen monitored adds in conjunction with its official hot adult contemporary impact this week. It was the format’s second-most-added song.

The song, meanwhile, is already gaining traction on the pop radio airplay chart. Thanks to the 304 pop spins it received between January 27 and February 2, “Bright” ranks at #50 on the rolling edition of Mediabase’s pop airplay chart.

“Bright,” which formally goes for pop adds today, had won pre-impact support from sixteen pop stations.
