Details On Top WWE Superstars’ Visa Issues; When Will They Return?

Word broke this week that Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre, two of WWE’s most prominently-featured television stars, were pulled from the road due to issues related to their respective work visas.

There were initially rumors that the duo could be out for the entire summer, but at last word, at least one of them is expected back rather soon.

According to F4WOnline.com’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Barrett’s issue has been overblown by the media. WWE had been working on the issue for weeks, and the believe is that he will be back in the country and on television by next week.

WWE is also hard at work on McIntyre’s visa issue, although there is a less clear timeframe on when he is due back. Originally expected to be in the upcoming Money in the Bank match, McIntyre was temporarily written off via a storyline version of his real life visa issue, and the storyline will serve to explain his absence as the situation is resolved.
