“Dockers Free Pants,” The Who Register as Top Super Bowl Searches

While the “call Barney Stinson” plug for “How I Met Your Mother” was the more surprising of the successful Super Bowl ads, it was not the only item from the ‘big game’ to pick up search heat following the Saints’ 31-17 victory over the Colts.

Currently topping Google is a query for “Dockers Free Pants.” Available here, it should be noted that the ‘dockers.com/freepants’ campaign is a contest in which “thousands of khakis” will be given away; it is not a guarantee of scoring a pair of casual bottoms.

Also hot are searches related to The Who. Some, undoubtedly based on the poor reception to the band’s vocal performance, are inquiring about the age of lead singer Roger Daltrey (65). Others are interested in the identify of the band’s drummer, since the band’s acclaimed and most famous drummer Keith Moon died in the 1970s. That answer is Zak Starkey, son of Beatles drummer Ringo Starr.

Roger Daltrey is NOT 69, but rather 65.
