Dua Lipa’s global phenomenon “New Rules” and successful follow-up “IDGAF” just earned new multi-platinum honors in the United States.

“New Rules” officially reached the 4x platinum threshold, signifying 4 million in US units. “IDGAF” garnered a 2x platinum award in recognition of 2 million units.

Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“New Rules” continues to receive significant airplay at pop radio, where it hit #1 in early 2018. “IDGAF” peaked inside the Top 15 at the format later that year.

The songs meanwhile peaked at #6 and #49, respectively, on the Billboard Hot 100.
