According to the RIAA, the song hit the 8x platinum mark on June 4, 2019.

The award confirms 8 million in US song units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Bodak Yellow,” as noted, reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the process, it catapulted Cardi B to superstardom within the music industry.
