The Band Perry Performs Via Hologram On “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (Watch Now)

While it did not happen during the actual awards ceremony, The Band Perry did perform during the night of the 49th Annual Country Music Association Awards.

The popular, CMA-nominated trio showcased its “Live Forever” on the post-CMAs edition of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The performance, notably made use of hologram technology. While The Band Perry was physically on-stage at the Country Music Hall Of Fame Theater in Nashville, the sibling act appeared as a hologram on Kimmel’s outdoor stage in Los Angeles, California.

It was not the first application of hologram technology on the episode. Earlier in the night, Kimmel executed the reverse tactic — he conducted his monologue from his Los Angeles studio but appeared, via hologram, at the theater in Nashville.
