While the series premiere of “WAGS” comfortably outperformed recent installments of previous timeslot occupant “Hollywood Cycle,” it was not a slam dunk for the E! Network.
It also turned away a considerable portion of its “Total Divas” lead-in.
Tuesday’s episode drew a 0.22 adults 18-49 rating with 477,000 total viewers.
Airing at 9PM, “Total Divas” drew a 0.45 adults 18-49 rating with 1.031 million viewers. “WAGS” thus trailed its lead-in by 51% in the core demographic and 54% in total viewership.
Though disappointing, the show’s retention rate was far stronger than that of “Hollywood Cycle.”
The July 7 “Hollywood Cycle” premiere (0.16, 321,000) trailed its “Total Divas” lead-in by 66% in adults 18-49 and 67% in viewership.
Last week’s “Hollywood Cycle” season finale (0.12, 253,000) trailed “Divas” by 76% in adults 18-49 and 78% in total viewership.
