If cities, politicians and activists are so upset with how MTV’s “Jersey Shore” portrays young Italian-Americans, they would apparently be better off keeping quiet.
The continued buzz for the show is doing nothing but bringing more eyeballs to the series. Thursday’s episode hit a season high in total viewers and key young adult demographics, proving once again that controvery sells.
Cable ratings data reveals that 3.27 million viewers watched this week’s “Jersey Shore.”
A strong viewership number for a cable reality series under any analysis, the show also posted strong ratings in adults 18-49 (1.8) and 18-34 (2.7)
