Disney Channel’s “Sounds of Summer” campaign has brought names like Pentatonix, RaeLynn, The Vamps and Becky G to its slate of original scripted programs.
On August 14, it will bring Australian band Sheppard to “Girl Meets World.”
The performance will come as part of the “Girl Meets Semi-Formal” episode.
“Riley is asked to the semi-formal dance by a classmate named Charlie and is torn whether to go with him or Lucas. Meanwhile, Cory’s brother Eric is paid a visit from an old friend,” says Disney Channel of the episode.
In support of the episode, Disney issued first look production photos. Insofar as they are taken directly from the August 14 “Girl Meets World” installment, readers are cautioned about the possibility of spoilers.
