UFC Calls Three Bouts “Fight of the Night”

UFC opted not to pick a winner from its trio of well-reviewed fights Saturday night, instead crowning three main card contests “Fight of the Night.”

Diego Sanchez vs. Clay Guida, Chris Lytle vs. Kevin Burns and Joe Stevenson vs. Nate Diaz all received the honor, which came with a $25,000 prize for each fighter. During the course of the show, UFC President Dana White offered high praise for the bouts on his Twitter:

On Sanchez-Guida, “HOLY FUKN SH*T!…Dont miss the fight!!”
On Lytle-Burns, “U guys have to see the lytle\burns fight!”
On Stevenson-Diaz, “Sick 1st round!…Great round 3 of diaz stevenson!”

He also referred to the TUF finale bout between James Wilks and DeMarques Johnson as “awesome.”

Best knockout and submission bonuses went to Tomasz Drwal and Jason Dent, respectively.
