The latest Blake Shelton, Kane Brown and Midland singles are on the rise at country radio.
Based on its performance during the February 12-18 tracking week, Shelton’s “Every Time I Hear That Song” ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s #57 song. It was #72 last week.
“Every Time I Hear That Song” received 422 tracking week spins, but it is worth noting that its position is based on a scoring system (each spin is given a point value based on the size of the market in which it was received) rather than raw airplay.
Up five spots, Brown’s “What Ifs (featuring Lauren Alaina)” takes #58 this week. It garnered 328 tracking period spins.
Midland’s “Drinkin’ Problem,” which attained 239 plays during the tracking week, rises seven spots to #60.
“What Ifs” officially impacted country radio on February 6. “Every Time I Hear That Song” goes for adds this Tuesday (late report due to President’s Day), while “Drinkin’ Problem” impacts on February 27.
