Boston, SF Pop Radio Stations Leading The Way On Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better”

First serviced to radio Wednesday, Rihanna’s new single “Kiss It Better” has received a few spins from numerous pop stations.

It has received more than ten from Boston’s 103.3 AMP and San Francisco’s 99-7 NOW. The two stations respectively spun the song 16 and 13 times in the seven days between March 25 and March 31.

Peoria’s 98.5 KISS (9 spins), Charleston’s 98.5 (7 spins), Macon’s B95.1 (6 spins) and New York’s 92.3 AMP (5 spins) are also among the notable early pop supporters.

The others that have played the song — and there are several — have contributed 3 or fewer spins.

Def Jam serviced both “Kiss It Better” and “Needed Me” to the pop, rhythmic, and urban formats this week. “Kiss It Better” is slated as the focus single at pop.
