Armed with hype, passionate fan support and a fresh lyric video, Mariah Carey’s “Infinity” is beginning to work its way up the iTunes single sales chart.
As of press time, which comes roughly an hour after the song’s official release, the new track is up to #93 on the all-genre chart. As the day progresses, it will surely continue its march toward the chart’s upper regions.
“Infinity” is cut from Carey’s forthcoming “#1 to Infinity” greatest hits album. A formal single, it is due to formally impact pop and hot adult contemporary the week of May 4.
Despite promoting that official adds date, Carey and label Epic Records are surely eyeing early airplay.
