The Mediabase country panel’s most added song is the highest-charting new addition to the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
Jason Aldean’s “Tonight Looks Good On You,” that song, begins its Country Airplay run at #54. Cut from “Old Boots, New Dirt,” the single is the official follow-up to Aldean’s chart-topping effort “Just Gettin’ Started.” “Burnin’ it Down,” the predecessor to that song, also reached #1.
Lady Antebellum’s “Long Stretch of Love” also arrives this week. The country trio’s song begins its Billboard run at #57.
Blake Shelton’s “Sangria” represents the last of the three debuts. The song, which does not officially impact country radio until April 6, flies into the #60 position this week.
“Sangria,” the third single from Shelton’s “Bringing Back the Sunshine,” represents his shot at a 15th-straight (and 20th-overall) Country Airplay #1.
