WWE always delivers some surprises in the Royal Rumble match, and Sunday’s over-the-top-rope battle royal did not bring that tradition to an end.
The match has yet to get underway, and it has already brought forth a major surprise. Chris Jericho, who had been on hiatus from WWE for several months, returned as the second entrant in the 30-man competition.
Dolph Ziggler was the match’s first participant.
