Earlier this fall, Jimmie Allen’s “Best Shot” reached #1 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart.

This week, another recent iHeartRadio “On The Verge” selection reaches the summit.

Mitchell Tenpenny’s “Drunk Me,” that song, rises three places to #1. It seizes the throne from Kane Brown’s “Lose It,” which spent a single week on top.

“Drunk Me” is Tenpenny’s first country radio #1.

In addition to leading for chart points, “Drunk Me” ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most played song for the December 2-8 tracking period. It received 7,964 spins (+1,234).

The aforementioned “Lose It,” however, reached a slightly larger audience during the tracking week (48.69 vs. 47.42 million audience impressions).

“Lose It” takes #2 on the overall Mediabase country chart this week, while Dan + Shay’s “Speechless” rises one place to #3. Luke Combs’ “She Got The Best Of Me” falls one place to #4, and “Best Shot” drops three spots to #5.
