Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” Again Ranks As America’s Most-Streamed Album

Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” may be down to #5 on the overall Billboard 200 and below that portion of the Top Album Sales chart, but it remains dominant from a streaming standpoint.

Continuing its streak, “Purpose” ranked as America’s most-streamed album during the January 29-February 4 tracking week.

According to Nielsen Music, “Purpose” drove 32,296,435 registered US streams (on-demand audio) during the aforementioned tracking week. Down only slightly from last week’s mark of 32,957,422, the tally outranks all other albums — new and old.

The closest weekly competition came from Bryson Tiller’s “T R A P S O U L,” which generated 23,001,467 weekly streams.

— “Purpose” is #5 on this week’s Billboard 200 thanks to its 72,861 US units. 28,167 came from pure album sales, while the remainder are due to Streaming Equivalent Albums (32,296,435 streams/1500) and Track Equivalent Albums (227,442 track sales/10).
