SZA’s breakthrough 2017 continues to get bigger.

iHeartRadio just confirmed SZA as its new “On The Verge” artist.

In addition to branding support across the iHeart digital networks, “On The Verge” provides selected artists/songs with guaranteed airplay on the iHeart radio stations within a given genre.

The airplay will apply to SZA’s single “Love Galore (featuring Travi$ Scott),” which is already in the Top 20 at urban radio and just outside the Top 30 at rhythmic radio.

Given that “Love Galore” is already established at urban but rather new to rhythmic, logic says that the “On The Verge” airplay will be delivered at the latter. iHeart’s announcement did not, however, explicitly confirm the format.

SZA released her debut studio album “Ctrl” this past June; it opened at #3 on the Billboard 200. As broken by Headline Planet, she will perform on the Thursday, July 20 edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
