Lady Gaga’s “Joanne” Pacing For 125-135K US Sales, #1 On Billboard 200

The first-week sales total for Lady Gaga’s “Joanne” will pale in comparison to that of “Artpop,” but the album should still take #1 on the Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

Based on opening day sales data, Hits Daily Double expects “Joanne” to sell 125-135,000 pure US copies this week. The tally should be enough for a comfortable #1 on Top Album Sales.

The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield an opening week consumption total of 150-160,000 units. That figure should position “Joanne” at #1 on the Billboard 200 consumption chart.

Released in November 2013, the aforementioned “Artpop” sold 258,000 US copies in its first week. It debuted atop the then-sales-only Billboard 200.
