Aiming to build his brand in the US — and take his international smash “Cheerleader” to the top of the Hot 100 — OMI will perform on the July 14 edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Per tentative NBC listings, the performance will follow host Jimmy Fallon’s interviews with LeBron James, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. It will represent OMI’s inaugural late night appearance in the US.
The Jamaican OMI is not the only international act scheduled for an upcoming “Fallon” performance. NBC reports that Years & Years will take the stage on 7/16.
Upon doing so, the trio will have completed the NBC late night trifecta. Years & Years appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “Last Call with Carson Daly” earlier this spring.
Other upcoming “Tonight Show” musical guests include Echosmith (7/13) and Alan Jackson (7/15).
Upcoming interview and/or segment guests include Paul Rudd (7/13), Cara Delevingne (7/13), Amy Schumer (7/15), Ian McKellen (7/15), Bill Hader (7/16), Ryan Seacrest (7/17), Trevor Noah (7/17) and Tig Notaro (7/17).
