Ratings: FX’s “The Bridge” Viewership Improves Slightly

Wednesday’s edition of “The Bridge” enjoyed slightly elevated viewership, but it did nothing to question the assertion that the series has lost a considerable portion of its core first season audience.

After garnering a series low audience of just 0.82 million last week, this week’s edition attracted 0.94 million pairs of eyeballs.

That viewership total, which is the show’s third straight to land below 1 million, would have been inconceivable during the inaugural season. No first season episode drew less than 1.34 million viewers, and only two drew fewer than 1.50 million.

This week’s viewership growth did not, however, translate to the key young adults demographic. The episode once again delivered a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating, which ties the series low mark also posted by the August 13, August 6, July 30 and July 16 installments.
