More on Booker T’s WWE Return, Awesome Kong’s Debut, Backstage Rumble Notes

The reactions Booker T and Kevin Nash received at the Royal Rumble dominated all post-show talk within WWE, and curiosity continues about how the company will follow-up on their surprise appearances.

As reported earlier, Booker T’s deal with WWE was with a manager or “Tough Enough” trainer position in mind, but the fact that he can still work might result in some in-ring opportunity for the veteran. According to F4WOnline.com, there has been internal discussion about ideas for the Booker Man, and some of those ideas involve Booker T working angles with “main-level” WWE wrestlers.

Kevin Nash’s appearance was part of a very short-term deal, but F4W says WWE is open to working with him in a primarily non-wrestling role (the Big Show match could still be a possibility).

— As has been reported, Awesome Kong was indeed backstage at the WWE Royal Rumble but kept off the show. Her debut is, nonetheless, viewed as imminent.

— David Hart Smith, Darren Young and Primo Colon, who were not in the Rumble despite advertising to the contrary, were told earlier in the week that they were to be replaced.
