New Music: Eric Church’s “Outsiders,” Tyga’s Bieber Collab Debut Well

While Katy Perry’s “Prism” is the only blockbuster album release, this week is loaded with new single track entries.

Monday, Lady Gaga’s “Do What U Want (featuring R. Kelly)” quickly reached the top of iTunes’ Single Sales chart, while new releases from Justin Bieber (“Hold Tight”) and Taylor Swift (“Sweeter Than Fiction”) also made early marks.

Tuesday brought a new string of music into the mix. Tyga’s “Wait for a Minute (featuring Justin Bieber)” leapfrogged the Swift song for number four on the iTunes Sales chart, while country fan favorite Eric Church launched “The Outsiders” to number eleven on the overall chart.

As of press time, The Fray’s “Love Don’t Die” had climbed to number forty eight, while songs from the Perry album and Fifth Harmony’s “Better Together” EP had also moved into the Top 100.
