The show itself may have seem lower-profile than it had in recent years, but Nickelodeon’s 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards ceremony still issued orange blimps to some very high-profile names.
Music winners included the on-hiatus Fifth Harmony (favorite music group), former 5H member Camila Cabello (favorite breakout artist), Shawn Mendes (favorite male artist), Demi Lovato (favorite female artist) and BTS (favorite global music star).
Victors in the movie category included “Jumanji” (favorite movie), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (favorite movie actor), Zendaya (favorite movie actress), and “Coco” (favorite animated movie).
“Stranger Things” led the way in the TV category, with the show picking up the award for favorite series and star Millie Bobby Brown earning the actress prize.
John Cena returned as host for this year’s ceremony, which featured performances by N.E.R.D and JoJo Siwa.
