In respectively rising to #4 and #5 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” and The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” do not simply reach their own new chart peaks.
They also set new career highs for the associated artists.
“Work From Home,” which rises one place from last week’s position, was already Fifth Harmony’s first Top 5 and Top 10 hit on the all-encompassing Hot 100 chart. This week’s gain further cements its status as the group’s most successful Hot 100 entry.
“Work From Home” is also Ty Dolla $ign’s highest charting Hot 100 hit.
In reaching #6 last week, “Don’t Let Me Down” had tied the peak achieved by The Chainsmokers’ previous single “Roses (featuring ROZES).” It surpasses that peak this week.
“Don’t Let Me Down” also sets another new career peak for Daya, whose previous Hot 100 high came courtesy #23-peaking debut single “Hide Away.”
