Rich Homie Quan’s “Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh)” Climbs to #1 at Urban Radio

Rich Homie Quan’s surging “Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh)” officially overtakes Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” on this week’s Mediabase urban airplay chart.

Spun 4,317 times during the June 28-July 4 tracking week (+214), “Flex” completes its run to the top of the chart. The aforementioned “BBHMM,” which spent two weeks at #1, slips to #2 on the strength of 3,968 weekly plays (-194).

Trey Songz’ “Slow Motion” (#3), Wale’s “The Matrimony (featuring Usher)” (#4) and Omarion’s “Post To Be (featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko)” complete the balance of the Top 5. Like the Rihanna tune, the three songs suffered week-over-week airplay declines. Unlike the Rihanna tune, they maintain last week’s positions.

While no song newly reaches the Top 5 this week, two make inaugural appearances in the Top 10. Fetty Wap’s “My Way (featuring Monty)” rises six places to #7, while Jidenna’s “Classic Man” enjoys a three place rise to #8.
