The lead single from Blake Shelton's new "Bringing Back the Sunshine" has been revealed.
Taylor Swift is not the only mainstream country superstar due to release a new single next week.
Genre juggernaut and “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton is also prepared to launch his newest tune.
According to Warner Music (and now his representatives via Twitter), audio for “Neon Light,” the debut single from Shelton’s upcoming album “Bringing Back the Sunshine,” will launch (and ship to radio programmers) at 12:01AM on August 18.
Per a promotional piece, it will then make its formal country radio impact on August 25.
Sure to be big, “Neon Light” will have to be gigantic to live up to the appropriate expectations for a Blake Shelton release. Beginning with 2009’s “Hillbilly Bone,” every Blake Shelton release has reached number one on either the Billboard Hot Country Songs or Billboard Country Airplay chart.
“Bringing Back the Sunshine” hits shelves on September 30.
