For the first time since the premiere, an “American Horror Story: Hotel” avoided live+same-day declines.
Wednesday’s episode matched the previous week’s viewership total. It enjoyed a very slight increase in adults 18-49.
Per Nielsen cable data, the latest “Hotel” installment drew a 1.41 adults 18-49 rating and 2.637 million total live+same-day viewers. The previous broadcast posted a 1.40 adults 18-49 rating with 2.637 million.
The live+same-day numbers still markedly trail those posted by the corresponding “Freak Show” (2.0, 3.912 million) and “Coven” episodes (2.2, 3.995 million), but “Hotel” will likely close at least some of the gap thanks to its proportionately stronger time-shifted viewing.
