Marshmello & Bastille’s “Happier” Ranks As Most Added At Pop & Alternative Radio

“Happier” earns the top spot on the pop and alt/modern rock add boards.

In a very rare occurrence, Marshmello’s “Happier (featuring Bastille)” ranks as this week’s most added song at both pop and alternative radio.

“Happier” landed at 64 Mediabase-monitored pop stations and 22 Mediabase-monitored alternative stations in conjunction with this week’s launch.

— The closest competition on the pop front comes from Calvin Harris & Sam Smith’s “Promises.” The new single won support from 53 stations.

Bazzi’s “Beautiful (featuring Camila Cabello)” takes third place with 42 pickups, while an add count of 20 slots Imagine Dragons’ “Natural” in fourth.

Benny Blanco, Halsey & Khalid’s “Eastside,” which won support from 19 stations, ranks as fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable pop radio options: Logic’s “One Day (featuring Ryan Tedder)” (16 adds, 6th-most, tie), Lovelytheband’s “Broken” (16 adds, 6th-most, tie), The Chainsmokers’ “Side Effects (featuring Emily Warren)” (15 adds, 8th-most, tie), Tiesto & Dzeko’s “Jackie Chan (featuring Preme & Post Malone)” (15 adds, 8th-most, tie), and Weezer’s “Africa” (14 adds, 10th-most).

— Elle King’s “Shame” earns second place at alternative radio. The single won support from 19 new stations.

The Revivalists’ “All My Friends” follows in third with 16 adds. An add count of 14 slots Panic! At The Disco’s “High Hopes” in fourth.

Each added by 7 stations, Billie Eilish’s “You Should See Me In A Crown,” Blue October’s “Daylight,” and Portugal. The Man’s “Tidal Wave” tie for fifth.

The Interrupters’ “She’s Kerosene” (6 adds, 8th-most), Disturbed’s “Are You Ready” (5 adds, 9th-most), Lovelytheband’s “These Are My Friends” (4 adds, 10th-most, tie), and Sublime With Rome’s “Wicked Hart” (4 adds, 10th-most, tie) complete the Top 10.
