As it crosses the $1 billion mark globally, “The Fate Of The Furious” enjoys a third weekend at #1 in the United States.

The latest “The Fast & The Furious” film added an estimated $19.4 million to its domestic haul this weekend. Enough for a convincing #1 on the US weekend box office chart, the count brings the film’s cumulative gross to $192.7 million.

New releases occupy the next three positions. Interestingly, the widest of those releases grossed the least amount of opening weekend dollars.

“How To Be A Latin Lover” (#2, $12.0 million from 1,118 screens) and “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” (#3, $10.1 million from 425 screens) debut ahead of “The Circle” (#4, $9.3 million from 3,163 screens).

The “Latin Lover” and “Baahubali” bows are impressive; the latter, in fact, sets the record for the biggest opening weekend achieved by a Bollywood film.

The opening weekend haul for “The Circle,” meanwhile, is a disappointment.

Credited with $9.1 million in weekend receipts (cume now $148.5 million), “The Boss Baby” takes #5 this weekend.
