Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” Certified Platinum in the US

Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You (featuring John Legend)” this week became her fourth straight “Title” single to reach the Top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

It also recently became the fourth “Title” single to go platinum in the United States.

In doing so, “Lose You” follows in the successful footsteps of “All About That Bass” (now 9x platinum), “Lips are Movin” (now 2x platinum) and “Dear Future Husband” (now 2x platinum).

The platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 1 million. Per the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, one unit is equivalent to 1 paid download/sale or 100 streams.

In addition to the aforementioned platinum singles, Trainor’s debut album “Title” has also spawned the gold-certified title track.
