Ratings: “KC Undercover” Viewership Soars for Raven-Symoné Episode

Raven-Symoné’s heavily hyped guest appearance proved fruitful for Monday’s “KC Undercover.”

Despite airing away from the series’ usual timeslot — and at 7PM on the Labor Day holiday no less — the two-part broadcast was the most-watched “KC Undercover” since June.

Comprised of “Runaway Robot Part 1” and “Runaway Robot Part 2,” the hourlong “KC Undercover” broadcast drew a 0.43 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.44 adults 18-34 rating, a 1.23 females 12-34 rating, and a total audience of 2.452 million.

All four numbers top those of the previous broadcast, which drew a 0.34 in adults 18-49, a 0.33 in adults 18-34, a 0.87 in females 12-34, and a total audience of 1.892 million viewers on Sunday, August 16.

While one may object to that comparison given the fact that the August 16 episode faced the Teen Choice Awards, this week’s episode also markedly outperformed the Sunday, August 9 episode (0.34 in A18-49, 0.28 in A18-34, 0.96 in F12-34, 2.045 million).

The comparison is even more favorable to the previous Monday evening airing. Airing on April 6, that installment drew a 0.27 in adults 18-49, a 0.31 in adults 18-34, a 0.51 in females 12-34, and 1.541 million viewers.

This week’s viewership total was the greatest since the June 26 airing. That episode, which aired as part of Disney Channel’s “Teen Beach 2” premiere block, reached 2.907 million.
