Ratings: MTV’s “Finding Carter” Tops S1 Finale, Falls From S1 Premiere

Unable to rival the excitement of last summer’s series premiere, Tuesday’s “Finding Carter” opener did outperform the September 2014 season one finale. It was also the first “Finding Carter” episode since August 26, 2014 to attract an audience in excess of one million.

Tuesday’s season two “Finding Carter” premiere delivered a 0.52 adults 18-49 rating with 1.099 million viewers. It managed a 1.45 in MTV’s core females 12-34 demographic.

All three numbers top those of the September 16, 2014 first season finale, which scored a 0.48 adults 18-49 rating, a 1.17 females 12-34 rating and a viewership total of 999,000.

The two-hour “Finding Carter” series premiere, however, drew a stronger 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 1.687 million viewers from 10-11PM and a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.440 million viewers in the 11-12 window. Those episodes aired on July 8, 2014.
