The Voice’s Matt McAndrew Grabs #1 on iTunes, Craig, Chris Follow (Updated)

Update: The voting for NBC’s seventh “The Voice” finale is over, and contestant Matt McAndrew’s original single remains the best-selling track at the US iTunes store.

McAndrew’s “Wasted Love” continues to hold the #1 position on the all-genre iTunes single sales chart.  Real-time trending data suggests it is selling twice as briskly as the #2 track.  “My Baby’s Got a Smile On Her Face,” that track, comes from fellow contestant Craig Wayne Boyd.

Chris Jamison’s original single “Velvet” follows at #3, while “Lost Without U,” his duet with coach Adam Levine, is #5 on the chart.  Damien’s best-seller is his original single “Soldier” (#8); “Lost Stars,” McAndrew’s duet with Levine, is #10 on the chart.

The week’s other new “The Voice” releases were at the following positions as of the 12PM ET voting deadline:

11) Chris Jamison – Team Adam – Cry Me a River
13) Craig Wayne Boyd – Team Blake – In Pictures
14) Matt McAndrew – Team Adam – Somewhere Over the Rainbow
16) Craig Wayne Boyd & Blake Shelton – Team Blake – Boots On
25) Damien & Adam Levine – Team Adam – Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me
41) Damien – Team Adam – A Song for You

===========================

Monday’s final season seven “The Voice” performance show has not even concluded on the west coast, and it has already produced several top ten sellers on iTunes even though there are no multiplier bonuses associated with this episode.

One of those, in fact, already holds the #1 position on the all-genre single sales chart.

Matt McAndrew’s “Wasted Love,” that song, soared almost immediately to the top spot following the Team Adam contestant’s performance Monday. An original written by Brandon Lowry, Chantal Kreviazuk, Shimon Moore and Mike Fiorentino, the song’s rapid ascent proves that McAndrew’s sales prowess is not limited to covers.

McAndrew is not, however, alone at the top of the heap. Team Blake contestant Craig Wayne Boyd currently holds the #2 spot with his original “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face” (written by Mark Marchetti and Stephanie Jones and original intended for his coach), while McAndrew’s fellow Team Adam member Chris Jamision is at #4 with original single “Velvet” (written by Elof, Kellen Pomeranz and Alex Lacasse).

Jamison also claims the next highest-charting song. “Lost Without U,” his duet with coach Adam Levine, is up to #8 on the chart.

Damien, also of Team Adam, follows at #10 with his original “Soldier” (written by Johan Carlsson and Ashton Parson and produced by Max Martin).

Other charting performances:

12) Matt McAndrew & Adam Levine – Team Adam – Lost Stars
13) Chris Jamison – Team Adam – Cry Me a River
15) Craig Wayne Boyd – Team Blake – In Pictures
16) Matt McAndrew – Team Adam – Somewhere Over the Rainbow
23) Craig Wayne Boyd & Blake Shelton – Team Blake – Boots On
31) Damien & Adam Levine – Team Adam – Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me
49) Damien – Team Adam – A Song for You
