Again protected by reduced competition from the other networks, NBC’s “Harry’s Law” posted an impressive overnight rating for its third episode.
While the translation to the adults 18-49 demo will tell a clearer story, overall viewership again looks strong–the show improved to a 7.4 metered market rating Monday. With CBS’ “Hawaii 5-0” and ABC’s “Castle” both in re-runs, “Harry” will win the demo and total viewership races.
“Harry’s Law” has remained steady over its first three airings, a very rare accomplishment for a new network drama.
A solid performer in its own right, the show gains additional credibility by building so well out of its lead-in. 9PM entry “The Cape” was only good for a 3.3 in the overnights, while 8PM series “Chuck” could simply muster a 3.5.
I simply LOVED Harry’s Law! (60 year old woman). But best yet, I turned my 31 year old daughter onto the show! To US, it has everything a show can give back: drama, comedy, an empathic view of social ills such as drug use, child abuse & rape and a well-developed characterization of the cast- and what a variety!!! I look forward to seeing the show! It even gave the Rush Limbaugh & the desensitized (dehumanized) criminal justice system wonderful jabs that screamed foe reforms! I couldn’t ask for more in one show! Kathy Bates? Loved her as usual + her young lawyer & paralegal- Great! On the 2/7 show the receptionist’s sensitive portrayal of her early abuse by an uncle (I loved her terms: “Tucked in Pretty”!) I WANT MORE!!!
I have always been a Kathy Bates fan. Her facial expressions and delivery of lines in the show are classic Kathy Bates. She’s a great actor. I truly hope this show makes it!
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show!!!! I have always been a fan of Kathy Bates, she is wonderful, excellent!! I hope this will stay on until the end of time! He facial expresssions are worth more than words can say. I must incorporate them in my life!

I too, love this show. I figured since I like it, the ratings must be horrible, lol. I hope this show makes it, because it is really a fun show to watch. The comedy is great, yet it still showcases many of society’s woes at the same time.
