Making good on mid-week projections, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber)” claims #1 on this week’s Official UK Singles Chart.
The song, which was #4 last week, seizes the #1 position from DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One (featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper & Lil Wayne).”
“Despacito” is the first UK #1 for both Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. It is Bieber’s sixth chart-topper.
The aforementioned “I’m The One” drops to #2 this week. Clean Bandit’s “Symphony (featuring Zara Larsson)” falls one spot to #3, while Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” declines one spot to #4. Up two places, Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” takes #5.
